Harvey Benton Armstrong, 66, Rt. 1, Powderly, died Monday, Dec. 6, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Forest Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Draper officiating. Burial will be in Forest Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Armstrong was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Chicota, a son of John Robert and Myrtle V. Annett Armstrong. He retired from Weiler Air Conditioning after 30 years and also retired from Paris Junior College as an air conditioning maintenance man. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Amber Armstrong, Rt. 1, Sumner; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Debbie) Smith of Paris and Mrs. Randy (Marsha) Upchurch of Blossom; six brothers, Ed Armstrong of Paris, Will Armstrong of Unity, Bob Armstrong of Tigertown, J. C. Armstrong of Paris, Doug Armstrong of Sumner and Robert Armstrong Jr. of Brookston; three sisters, Robbie Huggins of Brookston, Kathryn Draper of Detroit and Doris Avery of Paris; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, R. B., Harold and Martin Armstrong.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
