Marion Stokely was the son of Marion Stokely (Feb 1833 - Jul 1866) of Roseville, Ohio (burial unknown) and Sarah Elizabeth Alexander (Feb 1840 - May 1926), reported buried in Roseville cemetery, but no record. His grandparents were Benoni P Stokely (1807 - 1842) of Roseville, Ohio and Celia Brumage (1806-1890). His sister was Maude Stokely Fink of Lancaster, Ohio. His mother married Michael Joseph Bugh (1816-1882) and they had 3 children: Ethel Bugh Beaver (1878 - 1926) Zanesville, Joseph A. Bugh (1879 -1952) of Canton, and Edna Bugh Coffey, (1881 - unknown) last known residence in 1922 Canton.
