Oshkosh, Wis., Ansel B. Ives, president of the F. B. Ives wholesale grocery company here, died Sunday afternoon at St. Mary's hospital after an Illness of two weeks with paralysis. He would have been 70 years of age In another week.
He was born in Pennsylvania in 1852. His boyhood was spent in New London and he was in the lumber business for many years In Wisconsin and Texas. About ten years ago he came here to reside.
Those surviving are his widow and one son, Raleigh C. Ives and two daughters, Mrs. Vera O'Brien and Miss Texlne Ives.
The funeral will be Wednesday.
