Corinne was born in Gonzales, Texas, to the late John M. and Bertha "Betty" Miller Carlile, the second of nine children. She went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring in June of 1975, after 48 years of dedicated service. She served as Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary of The Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of Animal Aids, a supporter of Fuzzy Friends, and also a member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church and the Sunshine Class until her illness.
Corinne was preceded in death by her husbands, Cleve V. Pruitt and Truman Lowery; sisters, Ella Mae Lewis, Madelyn Luedke and Love Joy Cumming; and brothers, Perry and Hollis Carlile.
Survivors include brothers, Miller M. and Woodrow Carlile; sister, Louise Hoeheinz; and several nieces and nephews.
