Comanche - DOYLE DONALD BLAYLOCK, 78, of Comanche, Okla., died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, in Duncan.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. David Standifer officiating. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche.
He was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Holdenville, to Bee and Lillian Peters Blaylock. He married Imogene Lowe on Oct. 31, 1950, in Holdenville.
Doyle was a veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. He worked for and retired from Halliburton Services as a heavy-equipment welder.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Doyle enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and playing bluegrass music. He really loved and enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene of the home; two daughters, Donna Duwe and her husband David of Duncan, and Karen Blaylock of the home; a son, Terry Blaylock of Meridian; five sisters, Violet Smith, Norma Copeland and Myrna Simms, all of Duncan, Lela Graham of Oklahoma City, and Carla Patterson of Lake Texoma; a brother, Eugene Blaylock of Reedsport, Ore.; three grandchildren, Theresa Standifer, Sarah Hutton and Joseph Blaylock; and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Standifer, Aidan Standifer and Conner Hutton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Delmar Blaylock, Harmon Blaylock, Ellis Blaylock and Claude Blaylock.
Bearers will be Mike Cook, David Duwe, Josh Hutton, Phillip Standifer, Earl Cook and Joseph Blaylock.
