STRATFORD - Services for James Donald Lambert, 75, Stratford, are 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pickard Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Thomas Drake officiating. Burial follows in McGee Cemetery.
Mr. Lambert died Dec. 18, 1994, at Stratford. He was born May 4, 1919, in Hill County, Texas, to S.A. and Nannie Crowell Lambert.
He lived in Stratford most of his life and was a mechanic. He married Eloise Turner Sept. 19, 1936, at Stratford.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Lambert, of Stratford; three sons, James Donald Lambert, Kansas City, Kan., Weldon Lee Lambert and Samuel Albert Lambert, both of Stratford; one daughter, Nancy Sue Tice, Pauls Valley; one brother, Jack Lambert, Stratford; four sisters, Mary Butler, Austin, Texas, Maedell Runyan, Pasadena, Texas, Lona Cox, Andrews, Texas, and Marie Haynes, Pauls Valley; eight grandchildren; and six great-grand children.
He was prceded in death by a daughter, Donna June Martin, Dec 25, 1979.
Bearers are Lynn Archer, Lonny Hinkle, Garry Mulliniks, Goos McAfee, Max Suchy and David Taylor. Honorary bearers are Dick Gray, Bill Jones, Gene Stone; and Jack McClure.
