I am supposing that Mary's middle name was Carolyn, therefore going by Carrie. She may have been named after her paternal grandmother, Hester Carolyn (Kitchen) Anderson. On her 1911 marriage application, she signs her name as "Mary C. Anderson".
Carrie married Alva A. Newsom on September 6, 1911 in Rush County, Indiana.
