Leonard Francis Bush, 77, Battle Creek, Ia., was born Dec. 11, 1899, at Battle Creek, Iowa, and passed away on July 24, 1977, at Hartley Memorial Hospital, Battle Creek. Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church, Battle Creek, with Rev. D. Stanley Tyner officiating. Burial was in the Mt Hope Cemetery, Battle Creek.

He lived in the area all his life and farmed until he retired. He married Lois Mary (Nailor) Fletcher, Sept. 9, 1951, at Ida Grove, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Lois, Battle Creek; 2 stepsons, Frederick J. Fletcher and William C. Fletcher, both of Battle Creek; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Schiernbeck, Battle Creek; and a brother, Charles, Los Angeles, California; and 2 grandchildren.
