Husband of Elizabeth Green (who was first married to Nelson Boggs who died at the Civil War Battle of Middle Creek in KY). J. K. P. Horton was the son of Reese Duff Horton and Susan Cox of Carter Co., KY. Reese Duff was the son of Travis Horton and Rebecca Lester. J.K.P. Horton went(with many other Kentuckians) to Langlade Co., Wisconsin for the logging industry there. The base of his tombstone exists but would like to find the rest of it. He was my great-grandfather.
