Carrollton M. Murray of North Market street, died Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Frederick Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 63 years of age.
Born in Carrollton he was a son of the late Rev. Levi F. and Arilla Van Gordon Murray. Mr. Murray had been employed at the Community Hardware Store, North Market Street, for about 40 years until his retirement five years ago.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two brothers, Roscoe C. Murray, this city, Lee Murray, Washington, and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests there be no viewing, but the family will be at the funeral Home, 1201 North Market Street; this evening from 7-9 P.M. to receive friends.....Interment will be in Mr. Olivet Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions be made to the cancer fund.
