THELMA E. DINGMAN AT 53

Thelma E. Dingman, 53, Box 384. Fort Plain, died late Thursday evening in Amsterda m Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born June 5, 1926 in the Town of Palatine, the daughter of Charles and Edna Saltsman Smith. She had been employed by Beech-Nut Foods for several years prior to her retirement because of ill health. She was a member of Trinitv Lutheran Church. Stone Arabia. She was married to Silas Dingman in the Trinity Church parsonage June 6, 1944. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs, William (Diane) Tompkins, Fort Plain; three sons. Larry Dingman, Fort Plain RD1, Leon and Ronald Dingman, Nelliston; a sister, Mrs. Carl Mykel, Fort Plain; five brothers,Chester, Harry, Robert and James Smith, all of Fort Plain, and Virgil Smith. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Houghtaling Funeral Home, Inc.. Canajoharie, with the Rev Kenneth Dingman, pastor of SF Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Plain, officiating
