Karl Nielsen Pedersen, age 53, 33 E Burton Ave, died Tuesday about 5 a.m. of a heart ailment while enroute to the Salt Lake County hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

A son of Karl Nielsen and Katrina Jensen Pedersen, he was born May 25, 1896, in Pleasant View, Provo, Utah where he attended public schools.

Mr. Pedersen was a hoist operator in Park City mines from 1922 to 1926. He operated a automotive repair business with his brother Alma Pedersen in 1925 in Park City, Utah. He also sold and delivered coal to Park City residents. He entered the automotive repair business in 1926 in Salt Lake county. and operated Karl's Service Garage on State Street and Center St. In Midvale, Utah

Karl was a gregarious well liked person with many friends. He was industrious and operated several automotive businesses in his lifetime. He was married 5 times.

His 3rd wife, Anna Berry Pedersen died May 25, 1929.

He bought his last home at 33 E. Burton Ave in South Salt Lake, Utah in the 1940's where he lived until his death in 1950.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Katherine Pendrey, Riverton; four brothers, Chris Pedersen, Riverton; Roy Pedersen, Crescent; Al Pedersen, Park City; Jess Pedersen, Baker California,; two sisters, Mrs Beulah Cranfill, Riverton; and Mrs. Marie Snyder, Salt Lake City.
