Miss Barton's Rites Set Today
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Highway Church of Christ, 12 miles south of Abilene on State Highway 36, for Miss Euphia Barton, 136 Clinton St.
Miss Barton, 73, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at her home.
J. L. Musgrave, minister, will officiate.
Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery with Elliott's Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Barton was born Nov. 6, 1885 at Tecumseh in Callahan County and lived there until about 15 years ago when she moved to Abilene. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Seymour.
Surviving are three brothers, Jim of Tecumseh, Seth of Pampa and Homer Barton of Salmon, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Wilkerson of 1365 Matador St., and Mrs. Sam Johnson of 634 Beech St.
