He graduated from Montezuma High School and was an electrician. He had been employed for the past three years at Ross Electric Company, Rossville, Illinois, was a former electrician at Harrison Steel Casting Company, Attica, and had been a motion picture projectionist at Devon Theater in Attica for several years.
He was a veteran of World War II and also the Korean Conflict, having served in the Navy.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Sheryl) Carte, Route 1, West Point, and Mrs. Daniel (Lori) Coudret, Lebanon; two sons, James, Attica, and Thomas, Indianapolis; his mother, Mrs. Warren Timberlake, Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Esther) Chezem, Rockville, and Mrs. Richard (Ramona) Baer, Tippecanoe, Indiana; two brothers, Lewis Timberlake, Michigan City, and Jerry Timberlake of Florida; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Friday) at the Maus Funeral Home Chapel, Attica, with the Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Those so desiring may contribute in memoriam to the Fountain County Heart Fund." – Star Tribune, December 18, 1987
