Henry B. Craig died at 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at his residence in Walker, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 81 and a native of Greenville, Mo. He was a retired millwright and member of Millwright Local 720. Visitation was at Shady Bower Pentecostal Church, Walker, Sunday until religious services Monday, conducted by the Rev. Harold Hayes, the Rev. Herman Bounds and the Rev. Jerry Arnold. Burial was in Vickers Cemetery, Walker. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cora Louvinia Galloway Craig, Walker; three daughters and sons-in-law, Verna and Lester Lang, Poplarville, Miss., and Maxcine and Bert Lancaster and Linda and Johnny Gallman, all of Walker; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rudolph and Linda Craig and J.L. and Judy Craig, all of Walker; three sisters, Bertha Landry and Earline Payne, both of Walker, and Wanda Abbott, Eupora, Miss.; five brothers, Barney Craig, Robert Craig and Elzia Craig, all of Walker, W.E. Craig, Denham Springs, and Orville Craig, Starkville, Miss.; 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Clara Craig; a son-in-law, John Tannehill; and a grandson, James Matthew Craig. He was a charter member of Shady Bower Pentecostal Church.
