Tragedy struck on Christmas day of 1894 when Edward Daniel died of Typhoid Fever. Sadly, Sadie died three years later on Oct 25 1897. Earl Charles, now 3 years old, was taken in by his grandparents, Levi and Elizabeth as seen in the 1900 Beaver Valley census.
