OBITUARY:

Brownfield Services Held Tuesday

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Renner funeral home for Mrs. George Brownfield, former Urbana resident, who died Sunday at Birmingham, Ala. Reverend Paul Burt of Trinity Methodist church officiated and burial was made in Woodlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Brownfield leaves three children: Mrs. Flossie Brownfield Ellis, Brownsville, Tex.; Miss Leah Brownfield, Montevallo, Ala., and Mrs. Georgia Brownfield Campbell, a UI graduate of 1917.

Mrs. Brownfield also leaves four grandchildren; Captain Charles Lyman Ellis, Jr., Lieutenant Norman Ellis, Cadet Mason Hubert Campbell and Janet Campbell, as well as one great-grandson, Charles Lyman Ellis, III. A son-in-law, Charles Lymon Ellis, Sr., and the other son-in-law, Doctor Mason H. Campbell who is Dean of the Road Island State College, Kingston, R.I.
