Miss Lelah Brownfield
Miss Lelah Brownfield, 84 of Montevallo, Ala., formerly of Urbana, died Saturday (Dec. 16, 1972) at Montevallo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Bert Lancaster officiating. Renner-Wikoff Funeral Home is in chare of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
Miss Brownfield was born Aug. 1, 1888 in Champaign County, a daughter of George and Virginia Thomas Brownfield. She retired 14 years ago from the teaching staff of the University of Montevallo. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. George Campbell, Kingston, R.I.; a niece; and three nephews.
