Wayland Keck, 71, of Rogers, died Feb. 21 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. born Nov. 12, 1905, at Pettigrew, he was the son of George Washington Russell and Mattie Robinson Keck, a former employee of Harris Baking Co. and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Veba Bland Keck of the home, four sons, George R., John W., Dennis, and Vince. Four daughters, Janice, Connie, Sara, and Pat. Four brothers, Kim Keck, Arkansas City, Kan., Virgil Keck, Ashdown, Dent Keck and Jack Keck, Rogers; one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Ferrell, Rogers; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Callison Chapel, Rogers. Burial will be in Oakley Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Callison.
