Jack C. Keck, 68, Rogers, died Saturday, June 4, 1983, at St. Mary's Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 1, 1914 in Madison County, he was the son of G. W. R. Keck and Mattie Ann Robinson Keck. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Rogers and served in the U. S. Navy for 22 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He served in the Antarctic Expedition with Admiral Richard E. Byrd. He was a member of Rogers Masonic Lodge #460 and a member of Northwest Ark. Fox Hunters Association and a former Scoutmaster of the Explorer Scout Troup.

Survivors include his wife, Lenora Baylor Keck of the home; three brothers, Kim Keck, Arkansas City, Kans., John V. Keck, Ashdown, Ark., Dent Keck, Rogers; one sister, Sylvia Ferrell, Rogers; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 7 at the Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Clark, officiating, followed by Masonic graveside services. Burial was in Rogers Cemetery under direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Mary's Rogers Memorial Hospital or the Central United Methodist Church.
