Son of John U. Beer (also bur. at Lantz). Obituary in the Mansfield News-Journal of Thurs. April 11, 1963, pg. 3 states he was age 83 and died at his home, 170 West 2nd Street, Mansfield, Ohio; was a retired general contractor. Survived by wife, Marie Fernyak Beer; daughters Clara Taylor of Los Angeles, CA, and Mrs. Paul Santilli of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Jesse Beer.
