Son of John U. Beer (also bur. at Lantz). Obituary in the Mansfield News-Journal of Wedn. Nov. 30, 1955, pg. 5 states he was age 77, a former resident of Park Avenue East Road who had moved to Columbus about a year before his death. Had been a carpenter. Survived by his wife, Lydia Barth Beer; son Albert Beer of Columbus; daughter Mrs. William Heyman of Endicott, New York; bothers Levi W., Jesse, and Daniel Beer, all of Mansfield.
