Funeral for Mrs. Isaac Jones Held At Manti Wednesday.

MANTI -- Funeral services were held for Mrs. Annie E. Starkie Jones at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Manti North Ward Chapel. Bishop Charles G. Braithwaite was in charge.

Mrs. Jones died Sunday, June 14 in Fairview, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Allie L. Carlston, after an illness of about two years.

She was born October 11, 1869, at Stanford, Lincolnshire, England, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward John Starkie. She was married to Isaac Jones December 4, 1890, at Vernal, Utah. They raised their family at Vernal and then moved to Manti, where they have made their home for the past 14 years.

Mrs. Jones has been a faithful church worker in the auxilary organizations and has spent the last 12 years doing work in the Manti Temple.

She is survived by her husband and 11 children: Morley Jones, Mrs. Massie Wilson, Mrs. Lucy Wilson of Hatch, Utah; Warren and Allen Jones, Vernal, Utah; Albert Jones, Duchesne, Utah; Howard Jones, Salt Lake; Mrs. Rosalin Carlston, Fairview; Mrs. Olive Weyermen and Rachel Jones, Manti.
