Arden Beard, 64, died at 9:15am today in Maple Avenue Hospital, DuBois, of injuries and multiple abrasions in the fall, hospital attaches said.
It was reported Mr Beard was re-roofing a garage and was attempting to trim an overhanging tree limb when the accident occurred. The limb broke while Mr Beard was trimming it. Mr Beard fell about 20 feet.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Elden V Mohney Funeral Home in DuBois. Services are at 1:30pm Saturday. Officiating will be Rev Irvin Walls. Interment at the Rockton Cemetery.
