Born November 9, 1918 in Payson, Utah to William Edgar and Louise Cowan Dillingham. He married Elizabeth Harper November 7, 1947. He was a member of the LDS Church, where he was an Elder. Foreman Shop Mechanic at IML Trucking. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was concerned about others. World War II Navy Veteran and member of the VFW.
Survived by his wife, Beth; daughter, Judy (Bill) Webber, stepsons, Ronald (Ardeen) Simmons and Gene (Pearl) Simmons, sons by a previous marriage, Kenneth and Joseph Provstgaard; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Don Provstgaard and special niece, Mary Mortensen. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Jerry Simmons.
