The Febuary First robbery and kidnaping at the Knight Club on South Wayne Street, here has ended with the death of one of those believed involved, and the placing of charges against the remaining four.
According to Milledgeville Police Chief, Eugene Ellis, and Baldwin County Cheif Deputy Sheriff, Mack Hall, the four who have been charged with armed robbery.
The dead man has been identified as 25 year old Durell Askew, a native of Sparta, and a former resident of Milledgeville, who had an Augusta address at the time of his death. He died of gun shot wounds last week at the Bambi Motel, in Gainesville, Florida.
Durell Askew was the son of Oscar Askew and Evelyn Marchman
Askew. He was buried in Siloam Cemetery in Siloam Georgia.
