"Kenneth Askew, age 64 of Andrews, NC passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Valley View Care Center in Andrews, NC.
Kenneth was born in Sparta, GA and a son of the late Oscar Durrell and Evelyn Marchman Askew. He had worked in residential construction.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Durrell Askew and two sisters, Ann Moncrief and Geraldine Landrum.
Kenneth is survived by four brothers, Jimmy Askew of Albany, GA, Richard Askew of Waynesboro, GA, Neil Askew of Griffen, GA and Randy Askew of Martin, GA and one sister, Brenda Elliott of Murphy.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements."
