Survivors include five sons, Jimmy Askew of Albany, Neil Askew of Sparta, Kenneth Askew of Eastman, Richard Askew of Sardis and Randy Askew stationed with the Air Force in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Landrum of Toomsboro
and Mrs. Brenda Elliott of Murphy, N.C.; two brothers, Lindsey Askew of White Plains and Ralph Askew of Sparta; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Meadows, Mrs. Mary Duckett and Miss Allene Askew, all of Covington, Mrs. Ruth Burgamy of Warrenton and Mrs. Ella Clements of White Plains.
Patterson Funeral Home of Sparta has charge of arrangements.
