Mr. Spurlock died Thursday at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Spurlock was a member of the Wilhite United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Winona Spurlock of West Monroe; one son of Bossier City; two daughters of West Monroe and a daughter of Baytown, TX; two sisters, Willie Powell of Point, LA and Palmer Spillers of Calhoun; five brothers, Herman of Corpus Christi, TX, Henry Spurlock of Calhoun, Murrel Spurlock of Beeville, TX, Jeames Spurlock of Choudrant and J.L. Spurlock of Corpus Christi, TX; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
