Services for Mr. Luther Spurlock, 74, West Monroe will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Kilpatrick West Monroe Chapel with Rev. Tom Wilson and Rev. C.K. Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo near Downsville under the direction of Kilpatrick of West Monroe.
Mr. Spurlock died Thursday at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Spurlock was a member of the Wilhite United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Winona Spurlock of West Monroe; one son of Bossier City; two daughters of West Monroe and a daughter of Baytown, TX; two sisters, Willie Powell of Point, LA and Palmer Spillers of Calhoun; five brothers, Herman of Corpus Christi, TX, Henry Spurlock of Calhoun, Murrel Spurlock of Beeville, TX, Jeames Spurlock of Choudrant and J.L. Spurlock of Corpus Christi, TX; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
