Mrs. Snider died Saturday evening when a loaded 16 guage shot gun was picked up by the nine year old son Joseph who played with the gun for a time aiming at objects about the room saying "bang" but never pulling the trigger. By accident he found the trigger, there was a loud reverberation and the mother toppled over on the bed on which she was sitting, dead.

Mr. Snider was a t work at the Caterpillar at the time and after neighbors were aroused by the other children-there are eight in the family-the deputy coroner Wood and two deputies sheriffs were called to the scene. They brought Mrs. Snider to the Johnson Funeral home where coroner's inquest was held Monday morning.
