Of Roaring Spring, R.D., formerly of Duncansville, died in the Nason hospital at 10.05 o'clock Monday night. He was born at Cross Keys April 29, 1882, a son of Peter and Hannah (Shadle) Dell, was thrice married, the former Martha Hughes and Anna Cassidy preceding him in death. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Mock Dell; four sons and five daughters, Mrs. Hazel Smith and Mrs. Mary Stiffler of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Margaret Houp and Cloyd of Martinsburg, R.D., Mrs. Hannah Oldham of Roaring Spring, R.D., Mrs. Betty Oldham of Duncansville, Ray of Altoona, Robert of Java, N.Y., and Elinas, jr., of Martinsburg; a step-son, Paul H. Mock of Loraine, O.; 42 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Appie Wilt of Altoona. He retired from the Pennsylvania railroad service in 1947 and was a member of the Leamersville Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at the Thompson funeral home, Roaring Spring, after 7 o'clock this evening

DELL--Funeral services for Elinas M. Dell Sr., of Roaring Spring, R.D., will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Thompson funeral home, Roaring Spring, in charge of Rev. Joseph Gingrich. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery. Friends are being received at the Thompson funeral home, Roaring Spring, from 7 until 10 p.m. Wednesday and after 5 p.m. Thursday.
