George Dell's Life Crushed Out by an Engine.

George Dell, an employe of the Pennsylvania railroad company as a member of Buck's floating gang, was instantly killed at South Fork yesterday morning. The train that hauled Dell and his gang to work east of South Fork stopped at the viaduct to allow the men to get some tools from a tool box along the track. As Dell stepped off the train he did not see engine No. 762 coming down the mountain and stepped directly in front of the engine and was instantly killed. His remains were picked up and taken to his home in Gallitzin on the engine that killed him. Deceased was a son of Peter and Hanna Dell and was born in Blair county in January, 1870. He was married to Miss Jennie Clapper, who, with two children, Roy and Eva, survives. The remains of Dell were brought to Altoona this afternoon on No. 32 and taken to the home of his father, in Carson valley, on the 1:50 train, from which place the funeral will occur tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock with interment in the Carson valley cemetery.
