Professional Football Player. He played at the offensive and defensive end positions for six seasons (1946 to 1951) in the National Football League with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. After playing collegiate football at Duquesne and Villanova Universities, he was chosen in the 10th round of the 1944 National Football League Draft. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, before appearing in 68 NFL games. He had 155 receptions for 2,356 yards with 14 touchdowns and achieved All Pro status in 1947. Jansante was inducted into the Duquesne University Sports Hall of Fame in 1975.
