Funeral services for Tollie W. Joyce, 93, of Cadiz, were conducted on Sunday, November 13, 2005, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Rev. Paul Cannon and Rev. Mike Rust officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Joyce died on Thursday, November 10, 2005, at 7:01 a.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Mr. Joyce was born on September 17, 1912, in Golden Pond, Ky. He was the son of the late John and Minnie Lowery Joyce.
Mr. Joyce was retired from Kenlake State Resort Park; and was a member of Liberty Point Baptist church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Joyce and Lanis Joyce; and two sisters, Lurlene Stallons, and Corlene Litchfield.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Pauline Hendon Joyce of Cadiz; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Lana Joyce of Hopkinsville; daughter, Shirley Joyce Page of Nashville, Tenn.; two half-brothers, Thelbert Joyce of Hardin, and Alvin Joyce of Paducah; six grandchildren, Spencer Page, Greg Page, Michael Page, Mike Joyce, Joy Joyce, and Jeff Joyce; and six great-grandchildren, Cody Page, Caroline Page, Wes Joyce, Chance Joyce, Carson Joyce, and Clayton Joyce.
