Iva M. Littrell, 89, of Franklin Street died Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 7:10 a.m. at the Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Littrell was a homemaker and a member of Central Heights Church of God.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Nathan Greene and Rev. Clifford McDaniel officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to time of service Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Iva was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky, December 26, 1918, the daughter of Roby C. and Cora L. Osborne Sluder. She married Carl L. Littrell November 6, 1987.
She was the loving mother of Murrell Wise of Columbus, Ed (Chris) Wise of Wisconsin and Ray (Judy) Wise of Seymour; stepchildren, Diana (Evan) Fields, Sherry (Robert) Pile, Dick (Shiela) Littrell and Eddy Littrell, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Pam Mosier, Terri Woods, Greg Wise, Shelli Clem, Randy Wise, Tony Wise, Juana Harshman, Tammy Medaris, David Farmer, Shannon Aldridge and Jeff Aldridge; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 greatgreat-grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in August 2002; a daughter, Helena Black Goldsmith; five brothers and three sisters.
