He worked as a forklift driver at Harrison Steel Castings Co. in Attica for 34 years.
Walls was born near Yeddo Jan. 10, 1946, to Marion and Louise Martin Walls.
He attended school in Crawfordsville and was a resident of Attica since 1965. He married Rosa Marie McCloud July 31, 1966, in Crawfordsville.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Rosa Lee Adams of Peru and Kristy Spivey of Attica; one son, John Thomas Walls, Jr. of Attica; five brothers, Junior Walls of Covington, Donny Walls of Waynetown, David Walls of Kentucky, Danny Walls of Crawfordsville and Steve Walls of Crawfordsville; seven sisters, Thelma Holt of Arkansas, Ruby Wrightsman of Lafayette, Loretta Fuller of Crawfordsville, Dee Zachary of Arkansas, Carol Pence of Indianapolis, Joyce Walls of Florida and Melissa Walls of Indianapolis and three grandchildren.
Friends may join the family for a memorial service Monday 2-4 P.M. at the Lions Club building in Ravine Park, Attica. Maus Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
