Loran W. Wrightsman Jr., 80, of Danville, passed away at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Gardenview Manor in Danville.

He was born Nov. 14, 1933 near Covington, Indiana, the son of Loran W. and Louise Martin Wrightsman Sr. He married Juanita F. Hancock Aug. 11, 1957 in Stone Bluff, Indiana.

Surviving are two sons, Randolph E. (Teresa) Wrightsman and Stanley Wrightsman; three daughters, Debra Lynn McNair, Lauren L. "Lucy" Morgan and Pamela A Felgenhauer; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Thelma Hoyt, Lois Melvin, Donald Walls, Daniel Walls, David Walls, Dolores Zachary, Joyce Watson, Steven Davis and Melisa Germain.

Siblings who have preceded him in death include, Ruby Wrightsman, Bobby Walls, Violet Walls, Janice Dowell, Loretta Fuller, Carol Pence and John Walls.

He was employed for many years at Olin/Flexel near Covington until the company closed in 1996. He had served his country in the U.S. Army.
