JOSEPH GASSMAN DIES
Succumbs to Long Illness Last Saturday

Joseph Gassman, 87, died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mollie Younger, 406 East Eleventh Street after a long illness.

Funeral services were Monday morning at 9 o'clock at Antonino.

Mr. Gassman is survived by his children: John Gassman of Iliff, Colo., Mrs. George Younger, Mrs. Andrew Befort, Mrs. Andy Befort, and Alois Gassman of Hays; Mrs. Alex Keberlein of Red Granite, Wis., Vincent Gassman of Ness City and Mrs. Philomene Bieker of Denver; one sister, Mrs. John J. Frank, 75 grandchildren and 85 great-grandchildren.

Leiker, Rose Leiker, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rupp, Nick Pfannenstiel, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Befort, Mr. and Mrs. Geo Younger, and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Korbe, Mr. and Mrs. John Keberlein, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Befort, Mrs. Jake Younger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Befort all of Hays; Mr. and Mrs. Alex Keberlein of Red Granite, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Gassman of Ness City; Mrs. John and Wendelin Sauer of Bazine; Mr. and Mrs. Alex Leiker of Liebenthal; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Leiker of Munjor, attended funeral services for Joseph Gassman here Monday morning.
