Jessee Burress/Burris & his wife Mary (nee Barr) are buried at St. Rose Cemetery. Their first child is Janetta "Genetta" (nee Burress/Burris) Kelley b. 1830 & d. 1890. Jessee & Mary had 2 daughters in the 5-9yr. age grp. in the 1840 Census. I didn't have a name or a history for the other daughter, because the wife & children are not named in the 1840 Census records. I could only assume that the other daughter must have been married or deceased when the 1850 Census took place, because there is no other daughter than Janetta listed for their family in the 1850 Census. They have a son named Thomas R. Burress b. 1836 & d. 1861 that is buried at St. Rose Cemetery. His name was incorrectly spelled as Burruss, on his stone. Their son Charles "Carl" Burress B. 1838 & d. 1857 & their daughter Rachel Burress b. 1851 & d. 1852 (incorrectly spelled Burruss, on her stone) are also buried at St. Rose Cemetery.
In the 1850 Census for Barr Twp., Jessee Burress/Burris & his wife were enumerated with their living children & they also had an 18yr. old farmer, named Joseph Carrico born about 1832, enumerated as living in their household.
I believe that Elizabeth Burris Carrico b. Jun 1833 & d. Dec 17, 1851 is that missing daughter of Jessee Burress/Burris & Mary, his wife. Per MLT
