SCHREFFLER-At the family home three miles west of Geneva, at 6 a.m. Friday, December 27, 1901, Mary Etta, wife of R.H. Schreffler, aged 24 years, 6 months and 15 days. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Archer. She was married to R.K. Schreffler, August 19, 1896. Three children were born of this union. The oldest died at the age of five months. The yongest was but a few hours old at the time of it's mother's death. The funeral took place from the Methodist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and was conducted by the Rev. S.B. McVay. The internment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Martland lodge of Royal Neighbors, of which deceased was a member, attended in a body.
