Surviving are his widow of the home, three Sones, Jessie, Lester, and Delbert all of Jet., two daughters, Mrs. Edith Arnold of Jet and Mrs. Beulah Fields of Corbin, Kan., and six grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Minie Baruff of Medford.
OBITUARY NOTICE: Samuel Ellisin Archer was born in Coles county. Illnois, March 5, 1866. He departed this life May 1, 1933 at the age of 67 years 1 month and 25 days.
He was the second child of a family of sixteen children, six of which are living. While yet a small boy he moved with his parents to Nebraska and in 1910 he came to Oklahoma where he resided until his death
In the year of 1896 he was united in marriage to Carrie Belle Tuttle at Yates Center, Kansas. To this union was born six Children Leland Owen, an infant son, preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Carrie Bell Archer, six grandchildren, three sons Jesse, Lester and Delbert, of Jet, two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Armold of Wakita, and Mrs Theodore Fields of Corwin, Kanasa. Four brothers John, Arthur, and Emery, of Nebraska and George of Siloam Springs, Ark.: Two sisters, Mrs. Annie Slaybaught, of Geneva, Neb., and Mrs. Dan Baruff of Jefferson, Oklahoma. His body was interred May 1933 near Jet, Alfalfa Co., OK.
