Four children were born of this union: Adam, who first married his cousin Sarah Hess, the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Daniels) Hess; Jacob, who married Mary Lanehart; Mary Ann, wife of Dennis Mellott; and Samuel, who married a lady named Mary.
