Theresa F. (Hofbauer) Parkos, 81, of Oregon, Ohio, died Thursday, December 17, 1998 at Sunset House. Theresa was born in 1917 to parents Anthony and Frances (Pfitzer) Stockmaster. She was a matron for the Oregon Board of Education at Clay Hight School for 26 years. Theresa was a member of St. Ignatius Church for 60 years. where she was a eucharistic minister and active in its Alter Rosary Society. She participated in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, the O.L.P.H. Prayer Group, and attended the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center.
Theresa is survived by sons, Dale (Patricia) Hofbauer, Francis "Butch" (Velma) Hofbauer; daughters, Beatrice (Joseph) Kovacs, Rosemarie (Roy) Scherzer; brothers, James and Richard Stockmaster; sister Rita Ruhl; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husbands Elmer J Hofbauer and Charles Parkos; grandson, Brian Kovacs.
Friends may call at Hoeflinger Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Saturday from 3-9 PM and Sunday from 2-9 PM where the Rosary will be recited at 4 PM and Scripture service at 6 PM Sunday. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary Monday at 9:30 AM and proceed to St. Ignatius Church for Mass at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. The family will appreciate tributes in Theresa's memory to Sunset House Activity Program or the Toledo Diocesan Vocation Fund.

Addition or Correction: Theresa is buried next to her first husband and Her second husband is buried next to his first wife in Calvery Catholic Cemetery.
