CARROLLTOWN, Sept. 8--Mrs. Ellen Brand aged 82 years, widow of Daniel Brand, died of a complication of illnesses at 8 o'clock this morning at her home in Dean. She was born at St. Augustine, this county, and was a daughter of Henry and Sarah (Litzinger) Krise. Mrs. Brand is survived by a number of children. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
