Abigail is the daughter of Christopher Poe
and his first wife Mary Hillman.

on Aug. 23, 1832.

They had twelve known children,
many of whom are buried in this cemetery.

Sickness still reigns in this vicinity and two are at the point of death, Grandma Dragoo, dropsy of the heart and Bufford Ferguson, consumption.

The sick patients of this neighborhood are slowly sinking. Bufford Ferguson is not expected to survive till morning, and Aunt Abbie Dragoo is slowly sinking. They are both good church members. The churches will deeply feel their loss.

The inscription on her headstone reads:
Wife of D. Dragoo.
Age 70 years, 7 months, and 25 days.
