North Wilkesboro - Mrs. Louise Key Barlow, age 85, widow of Homer Barlow, of Mulberry Mill Road, North Wilkesboro, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Britthaven of Wilkesboro. Mrs. Barlow was born May 6, 1921 in Wilkes County to Daniel and Vander Adams Key. She was a member of Center Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Nellie Billings and Verona Grashmer, Millie Barlow and three brothers, Vernon Key, Claude Key and Vade Key.
Surviving are three sons, Harvey Barlow and wife Ginger of North Wilkesboro, Gary Barlow and wife Marlene of Oak Ridge, Paul Barlow and wife Donna of North Wilkesboro; two daughters, Judith Porter and husband Edward, Lois Sale all of North Wilkesboro; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 o'clock Monday, April 2 at Center Baptist Church with the Dr. Monroe Huffman officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at Miller Funeral Service from 5:00 until 7:00 o'clock Sunday evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Center Baptist Church, 205 Center Baptist Church Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
