Gary Russell Barlow of North Wilkesboro passed away February 8, 2023 at Wilkes Health & Rehab Center.
Mr. Barlow was born April 28, 1945 in Wilkes County to Homer and Louise Key Barlow.
He was in the United States Air Force from 1965 until 1969, where he was an Aircraft Inertial and Radar Navigations Systems Repairman, leaving the US Air Force as a Sergeant.
Gary was a Troop Leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his spouse of 52 years, Marlene Gambill Barlow; son, Timothy Russell "Tim" Barlow and spouse Felicia; two granddaughters; brothers, Harvey Lee Barlow and spouse, Paul Lester Barlow and spouse Donna; sisters, Judith Louise Porter and Lois Jean Sale.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
