FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. MARTIN STACK

Mrs. Catherine Stack, 76, a lifelong resident of this community, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in St Francis Hospital, Peoria, where she had been a patient six days. She was taken to the Vincent Memorial Home here. Services were held at 9:30 a.m. (daylight) Monday at St Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. James A. Kerrins officiating. Burial was in St Mary's Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 1, 1874, in Gridley Township, a daughter of Michael and Sarah Murphy Cleary. She married Martin Stack, Jan 24, 1900, in El Paso.

Surviving are her husband; five sons, Garnet of El Paso; Raymond of Peoria; William of Aurora; Donald and Edwin at home; three daughters, Miss Marguerite, at home; Mrs. Marie Pankey of Park Forest; Mrs. Kathryn Kimpler of Peoria; three brothers, John T. Cleary of Bloomington; Patrick of Gridley; Edward of Paxton; a twin sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Head of Rantoul; 10 grandchildren. Two sons, five sisters and two brohers preceded her in death.

She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in El Paso, IL.

Pallbearers were James Hayes, Mike Stokes, Edward Kearney, Melvin Mohr, Joe Stimpert and Merle Fulton.

In addition to the immediate family, a number of friends and relatives attended the service.
