Rites Are Held For Peter Froelich At Lastrup

Peter Froelich passed away at St. Gabriel's hospital Thursday, December 5 at 2 p.m. after being ill there for the past ten weeks. He was an arthritis sufferer which caused him to be ill recurrently for the past year. Pneumonia developed a week ago, hastening his death.

Mr. Froelich was born in Buh Township, October 24, 1885 and had just marked his 61st year. He received his education in the schools of this vicinity and made his home practically all of his life at Pierz. He resided with his brother Ben and family, six and one half miles northeast of the village.

The immediate survivors incldue two brothers, Ben, of this place and William of Little Falls and three sisters, Frances, Fargo, ND; Mrs. Minnie Muellner, St. Cloud and Mrs. Anna Donek of Harding.

Funeral servies were conducted at St. John's Nepomuck church in Lastrup, Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock with Father Reiners officating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Waninger, Edmund Boser, John Ross, Andrew Boser, Raymond Boser and Elmer Bayerl.
