HOLTON - Glenn E. Anderson, 70, Holton, died here Tuesday in a hospital where he had been a patient about a week. He was born Sept 26, 1902 at Soldier and spent his early life in the Soldier community. He lived at Holton 28 years.
He had been associated with his father and brother in the construction business 35 years. He and his wife operated the Mode O'Day Dress Shop at Holton the past 13 years and he served as bookkeeper for the shop.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church at Holton and Circleville Lodge No. 20, AF&AM at Circleville.
He was married to Lillian G Jorden June 3, 1925. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Greg Anderson, Holton; a brother, Paul Anderson, Holton; 2 sisters, Mrs. June Reed, Soldier, and Mrs. Ula Ewing, Great Bend; and a granddaughter.
Services will be Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home at Holton with burial in Holton Cemetery.
